The Sacred Valley of the Incas is a magical place that combines history, culture, and nature. This valley has been home to charming colonial cities, traditional towns, handicraft markets, and majestic Inca citadels such as Pisac, Ollantaytambo, and Urubamba.
During your tour, you will discover the Maras Salt Mines and the enigmatic terraces of Moray, an ancient agricultural laboratory of the Incas. Its retaining walls and irrigation systems made it possible to cultivate more than 250 varieties of vegetables, demonstrating the incredible agricultural engineering of this civilization.
In addition, you will be able to explore the legendary ruins and the imposing Lost City of the Incas: Machu Picchu, a historic sanctuary that captivates with its urban planning, architecture, and engineering. Every corner of this place tells stories that connect you directly with the greatness of the Inca civilization and the majesty of the Andes.
Details of the trip to Sacred Valley and Machupicchu 2D/1N
DAY 1: PISAC – MORAY – MARAS SALT MINES – OLLANTAYTAMBO – AGUAS CALIENTES
Your adventure in the Sacred Valley of the Incas begins! We will pick you up at your hotel at 7:30 a.m. in our private transportation and head to Pisac. On the way, we will make a stop at the Taray viewpoint, where you will be able to enjoy an impressive view of the Urubamba Valley, with its crops that dress the mountains like a multicolored carpet.
In Pisac, we will explore its archaeological site, including the largest Inca cemetery with more than 2,000 tombs, the spectacular agricultural terraces, and the religious area of the citadel. Here, you will have more than 2 hours to immerse yourself in Inca history. Then, we will visit the colorful Pisac market, perfect for purchasing handicrafts and local souvenirs, before continuing to Urubamba for a delicious lunch.
After lunch, we will arrive at Moray, known as the “greenhouses of the Incas.” This archaeological site amazes visitors with its circular bowl-shaped terraces, which the Incas used to experiment with microclimates and optimize the cultivation of different vegetables.
Next, we will discover the colonial town of Maras and its famous salt mines, where salt-laden water evaporates leaving a bright white color that has nourished generations. Finally, we will visit Ollantaytambo, a living town with enormous Inca ruins, where our guide will show you every detail of this incredible place.
In the afternoon, we will board the train to Aguas Calientes, where you will spend the night at your hotel:
- 2* Hotel: Inti Punku Tambo
- 3* Hotel: Ferre Machu Picchu or Waman Machu Picchu
- 4* Hotel: El Mapi or Tierra Viva Superior

DAY 2: AGUAS CALIENTES – MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO

Then, you will have free time to explore on your own: walk through the main plazas, climb the stone-carved stairs, and feel the energy of this spiritual center of the Incas.
If you want an extra experience, you can choose to:
